These Gift Card and Gift Voucher Terms & Conditions govern the purchase, issuance, delivery, activation, use, redemption, cancellation and other permitted activities relating to gift cards and gift vouchers offered through DIGITTPAY SOLUTIONS LLP or its authorised partners.
By purchasing, receiving, activating or using a gift card or gift voucher, the customer agrees to these Terms, together with any product-specific terms displayed at the time of purchase.
Gift cards and vouchers may be purchased or used only by persons legally capable of entering into applicable transactions and subject to any product-specific age, identity, geographic or other eligibility requirements.
Each product may have a specified value, validity period, permitted merchant/channel, redemption method, usage restrictions and other conditions. Product-specific terms displayed at purchase or issuance shall apply where they differ from these general Terms.
Digital gift cards/vouchers may be delivered through approved electronic channels such as email, SMS, application or other authorised methods. The customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery information and maintaining access to the relevant communication channel.
Where activation is required, the gift card/voucher shall become usable only after successful activation in accordance with the applicable product process.
Each gift card or voucher shall have the validity period stated on the product, order confirmation or applicable terms. After expiry, redemption shall be subject to the product terms and applicable law.
Unless expressly permitted by the applicable product terms or law, gift cards and vouchers are not redeemable for cash and do not create a cash-withdrawal facility.
Transferability depends on the specific product. Customers must not use gift cards/vouchers for unlawful, fraudulent or unauthorised activity.
Customers are responsible for protecting gift card/voucher credentials. If a code, PIN, link or account is compromised, the customer should report it promptly. The Company may investigate and apply protective measures where appropriate, subject to applicable law and product terms.
The Company may suspend, restrict or cancel a gift card, voucher, account or transaction where there are reasonable security, fraud, unlawful-use or system-integrity concerns, subject to applicable requirements.
Refunds or cancellations shall be governed by the applicable Refund / Cancellation Policy, product-specific terms, payment rules and applicable law. A refund may not be available after redemption or where prohibited by the applicable product terms.
Where payment is successful but gift card/voucher issuance or delivery fails or is delayed, the Company may investigate and, where appropriate, reissue the product, correct the transaction or process a refund subject to applicable procedures.
The customer is responsible for accurate recipient information. Where a gift card/voucher is successfully delivered to the information supplied by the customer, the Company may not be responsible for losses caused by incorrect details, subject to applicable law.
Reports of unauthorised purchase, account activity or redemption shall be handled under the Company's Unauthorised Transaction and Fraud Prevention policies.
Payment disputes and chargebacks shall be handled under the applicable payment-partner rules and the Company's Chargeback & Dispute Management Policy.
Customers may contact the support channels published on the Company's website or product communication for assistance relating to orders, delivery, redemption, refunds, disputes or security concerns.
Personal information shall be handled according to the Company's privacy/data-protection practices and applicable law. Customers should not share passwords, OTPs, PINs or security credentials with unauthorised persons.
The Company may suspend, restrict or cancel an order, account, gift card or voucher where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, partner requirements or material breach of these Terms.
Where a gift card/voucher is redeemable at a third-party merchant, the merchant's applicable terms, availability and redemption conditions may also apply. The Company shall not represent itself as controlling third-party merchant policies unless expressly agreed.
The Company aims to maintain reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance, technical failures, partner outages, network issues or events beyond reasonable control may affect service.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for losses arising solely from customer negligence, incorrect information, unauthorised disclosure of voucher credentials by the customer, third-party outages or events outside the Company's reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Customers may raise complaints through the Company's published support channels. Complaints shall be handled under the Customer Grievance Redressal Policy.
The Company may update these Terms from time to time. Updated terms shall be published through appropriate channels and shall apply prospectively where required, subject to applicable law and product-specific commitments.
These Terms shall be governed by applicable laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction and dispute-resolution arrangements legally applicable to the transaction and Company.
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to the extent permitted by law.
For customer support, complaints or product-related assistance, customers should use the current contact details published on digitpay.in or in the relevant product communication.
